Bayport Advantages:
Channel Depth: 40 feet (12.19 m) at mean low tide. Future design for 45 feet.
Berths/Vessel Accommodations: 3,300 feet of continuous quay. Future expansion to 7,000 feet.
Cranes: 6 Post Panamax (18 wide), 3 Super Post Panamax (22 wide)

Container Yard: 199 acres, grounded RTG operation with wheeled slots for reefer and OOG cargo, 500 reefer slots

RTG Fleet: 27 RTGs

Gate: Automated gate system, 10 inbound and 6 outbound lanes; Optical Character Recognition at out-gate; access to all major freeways. Gate expansion to 20 inbound lanes currently under construction.

Rail: Master Planned, not yet constructed.

Tariff: Port of Houston Authority Tariff 15.
