Woodhouse Terminal is located on a
100-acre tract on the north side of the Houston Ship
Channel near the Sims Bayou juncture, a short distance
downstream from the Turning Basin Terminal. Versatility
is this Port Authority facility's primary asset. The
terminal includes approximately 235,000 square foot
of warehouse space, roll-on/roll-off ramps and three
general cargo wharves ranging from 600 feet to 660 feet
long.
Storage is available for virtually
any type of cargo. In addition to the 235,000 square
foot of covered storage, the terminal offers approximately
10 acres of open storage. The channel depth at Woodhouse
enables this terminal to serve today's deeper-draft
vessels.
