New Park
Unveiled Seabrook
residents acquired a new 41-acre Wildlife Park on
Earth Day, April 22. The park was named by children
from Bay Elementary, who received a $500 check from
the Port of Houston Authority and the city to promote
environmental awareness. The park will benefit both
the Seabrook residents and the port as it provides
a natural buffer between the Bayport terminal and
the Seabrook community. State Rep. Lampson, Seabrook
Mayor Riley and PHA Chairman James Edmonds participated
in the long-anticipated, historic groundbreaking.
